When working in music, being able to actually hear what you’re doing is an integral part of the process. But what happens when you’re blocked from this process by getting the headphone plug stuck inside the audio jack?
Worry not, we have a pretty easy fix for this! All it requires is a nail and super glue.
What you’re going to do is coat the tip of the nail – we used a casing nail, but any nail that’s long enough to grab onto should work – with the super glue, and then insert that end into the plug that’s stuck in the jack. (Be careful not to apply too much glue, so that it doesn’t leak out of the plug’s orifice and get anywhere else on your interface.)
You should apply enough glue to have it really adhere to the plug inside. Once the glue has dried, just pull on the nail until the plug comes out and voila, the audio jack is now free to be used again!
